MICHAEL GEARY
Michael graduated with an Honours Degree in Business Studies and qualified as a solicitor in 1989.
His business background has allowed him focus on Commercial law and property as his preferred areas of practice.
He has extensive experience in property, both Commercial and Residential.
Michael has acted in mergers and acquisitions of Companies, advised on management buyouts and other financial transactions, on behalf of clients and financial institutions.
He has lectured at the University of Limerick and private colleges in Law and Business.
In his role as managing partner Michael has seen the continued growth and development of the firm which has included the development and relocation to our current offices.
PAUL MCCARTHY
Paul graduated with a BCL degree from University College Cork in 1983. He joined the firm shortly after qualification and has been a partner since 1989. An experienced solicitor he has worked in all areas of law for both corporate and private clients.
He now specialises in the area of Personal Injuries claims, medical negligence, occupier's liability and he also represents a number of Insurance Companies. Paul also is the head of the firm's extensive debt collection department.
SINEAD NOLAN LLM
Sinead graduated from University College Cork with a Master Degree in Law in 1998. She trained with Breen Geary McCarthy & Shee and qualified as a solicitor in January 2003. She specialises in Personal Injury Litigation and Family Law.
She has represented numerous private clients on many issues at District, Circuit and High Court level as well as the Residential Institutions Redress Board.
She has considerable experience in Family Law including divorce, separation, custody, maintenance and a wide range of child and Family Law issues.
DAVID RYAN LLM
David graduated from the University of Limerick in 1997. He subsequently obtained a First Class Honours Masters Degree in European and Comparative Law in 1998. David was admitted as a solicitor in 2001.
Having worked in a busy Dublin firm following qualification as a solicitor, David returned to Breen Geary McCarthy & Shee in late 2002, where he had trained as a solicitor. He specialises in Residential and Commercial Conveyancing, as well as Bank Securities.
CHRISTINA HEFFERNAN BA LLM
Christina graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Business and Legal Studies in 2004 and subsequently obtained an Honours Masters Degree in European and Comparative Law from the University of Limerick.
She has also lectured in the area of Business Law.
She joined Breen Geary McCarthy & Shee in September 2006 and completed her training within the firm. She has experience in a wide range of practice areas including personal injury litigation and debt collection.
CAOIMHE COLLINS
Caoimhe graduated from the National University of Ireland, Galway with a Degree in Law in 2004. She qualified as a Solicitor in January, 2009.
She has considerable experience in the area of Family Law and represents clients in the District, Circuit and High Courts.
She advises on all aspects of Family law including separation agreements, judicial separation, divorce, nullity, co-habitation agreements, maintenance applications, domestic violence, guardianship, custody and access.
